Robens Selfinflating mat 'Air Impact'

The tapered shape of the Air Impact range mats provides plenty of space at the upper body where it is needed, but saves on weight by reducing width at the legs where it¿s less crucial. Even more weight is saved by the lightweight 20D double thread ripstop polyester outer, making the Air Impact range particularly appealing to self-propelled adventurers like trekkers, cycle tourers and kayakers. A brass valve makes for durable and effective inflation and deflation, even in cold conditions. Features: Very lightweight and compact, Sturdy brass valve, size adjustable carrybag, compression straps included for easy packing, anatomical shaped for optimising weight-to-comfort ratio.

- good insulation

Additional info on Self-Inflating Thermal Mats

In order to maintain and promote the effect of "self-inflating", a new mat should always be rolled out before the journey. When opening the mat for the first time, please inflate it slightly with your mouth and then leave it rolled out for a few days with the valve open. This allows the foam in the mat to expand. Before the journey, roll the mat tightly together - of course with the valve open. Close the valve. The mat is compact and ready to travel. At your destination, open the mat as soon as possible and leave it with the valve open. This will allow it to draw air and "inflate" itself. Before going to bed, you may want to blow a little more to make the mat a little harder, close the valve and enjoy the comfort and insulation.
