Additional info on Tick Removers

In a tick bite, the skin is scratched by the tick with its jaw claws and then the sting is anchored in the wound. Before starting to feed, the tick releases a secretion containing an anticoagulant, a kind of glue, an anaesthetic and an anti-inflammatory agent. All of this serves the undisturbed food intake of the tick. Now at the latest it is probably time to remove the tick, isn't it?
