The success story of the Esbit brand began in 1936 with the invention of the dry fuel tablets by Erich Schumm. Soon followed by other products such as the stove in pocketsize, of which until now has 10,000,000 units were traded.
The Esbit Compagnie GmbH was founded 1949 in Hamburg / Germany, initially only for export purposes. Fritz Paapled the company over three decades. 1982 took up his son Dieter Paap the management of the company. Today the family business is led in the third generation with Philip and Robert Paap. Thus will continue the traditional values of the brand and the company.
Esbit products have proven that they are a reliable energy source also under extreme weather conditions, which leaves little space.
